5″ Battery Operated Clip Fan

$24.99

I saw this little battery operated clip fan for beach chairs, backpacks, treadmills, and strollers when I was looking at Seville’s UltraSlimline Oscillating Tower Fan. That one got some good press in a Best Fan roundup, and given the heat accumulation in my condo, I definitely need the best fan. The best. A fan you’re not even gonna believe how good it is.

But then I got distracted by this little clip-on 5-incher. It’s like how when my betrothed says she wants to adopt a rescue cat, but then when we go to the shelter she just makes a loud squeal and a beeline for the kittens. Anyway, I was thinking this precious kitten version of a fan might attach to one of the slats on my headboard, so I can have a cool breeze directed right at my face all night long.

And maybe I’ll still get the tower fan too.

The Clip Fan has 2 speeds and a 360-degree rotating head. The battery pack uses 2 x Ds, which, geez. Two D batteries seem like they would be bigger than the entire unit. But reviewers don’t seem to mind, with some saying they can still clip it to car visors, and others noting they add zip ties to keep the fan’s battery heft secure.
