They say the Apex, a Crusader Forge issue patterned in 3D camo, is built like a tank. They also say the expression “built like a tank” is way overused in the knife world. Then they say when it comes to this folding knife, there’s no better way to call it: a titanium handle extends into a stainless S-30V blade to form a piece of EDC so solid and functional that the thing is actually built like a tank.
The folder includes a cutout in its 1/4″ thick blade to facilitate both right- and left-hand opening, as well as a thumb groove in its spine for a secure grip. Stainless steel pins and pivot connect the handle and blade pieces together. Blade length is 2-3/4″. Total length is 7-1/4″; closed it measures 4″. Weight is 10 ounces.
