The ready-to-fly Inspire 1 uses its quadcopter propellers to lift itself above the competition with the following advanced tech and features:
Aerodynamic, Transforming Design. Carbon fiber arms stay strong against the push of air in flight to maintain drone maneuverability. But they’re also movable; flick a switch and the arms will shift when they get in the camera’s way while filming or taking photos. The Inspire 1 will always give you a 360-degree unobstructed view to enable money shots independent of the direction you are flying.
New 4K Camera and Gimbal System. DJI’s most advanced camera to date shoots 4K video at 24 – 30FPS, or 1080P at 24 – 60FPS. Photographs click at up to 12 megapixels. The drone’s 1/2.3 inch CMOS sensor is intended to enhance all shots, and its 94 degree wide-angle FOV lens assists with prime shot composition. The Inspire 1’s 360-degree 3-axis rotating gimbal produces clear, stable images and videos regardless of the filming environment or type of jackass maneuver an irresponsible pilot might be attempting with his very expensive toy.
Live HD View. Inspire 1 gives users a real-time feed from its camera, displayed in 720p HD on a connected mobile device. It can transmit video from up to 2km away.
Modular, Upgradeable System. The gimbal and camera are removable for transport, separate storage, and future drone upgrades.
Powerful Remote Controller. Features dedicated buttons for photo and video capture, a gimbal control dial, and integrated rechargeable battery for easy, intuitive operation.
DJI produces a full-featured accompanying Inspire 1 app for camera and flight setting tweaks. Those who want to buddy up with their friend Cornelius for dual drone shenanigans can also buy the Inspire 1 package with 2 remotes. Working in tandem, one controller would pilot the flight path over Mr. Bender’s front sidewalk while the other tends to the gimbal and camera to catch him shoveling all of his snow into my mama’s yard when he thinks we’re asleep.
