Circles symbolize unity, wholeness, totality. And also hidden, razor-sharp blades. At least when they’re Vicious Circles, and come forth from the loins of Mantis Knives.
Designed by Grant and Gavin Hawk, the Vicious Circle is a hawkbill folding knife set into a stylish stainless steel disc and slipped onto a neck sling. The 1-1/2″ blade appears when its wearer releases a specially crafted trigger locking mechanism along the side. The pictured Vicious Circle has a plain stonewashed gray finish, but Mantis also carries several other finishes in the knife, including polished silver and gold, plus styles with with carbon fiber and iridescent onlays. Weight is 1.55 ounces.
