I’d like to see this bed-with-a-rooftop-deck design for pets scaled up to human size as well. Maybe to use as a poolside cabana or backyard lounger. A little sun, a little nap, a little sun, a little nap…. Dogs and cars are such lucky SOBs.
The Room with a View Pet House is suitable for either indoor or outdoor setup, and shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes to assemble. It’s made of kiln-dried wood with a natural color stain. The lower portion of the house–the “lounge area” they call it–has a raised bottom to keep the enclosed interior, and its resident, dry during crap weather like the massive rain dump I am in the middle of right now. Up top a lattice fence around the balcony perimeter further increases the house’s cute ‘n’ clever factor, plus protects your pooch or puss from rolling off during a snooze. The balcony rooftop is removable for cleaning.
